I've never cuddled with anyone before, but I've been practicing with my pillows and I've developed a few styles that would prevent your arms from falling asleep.

Style 1 is with both you and your gf lying stomach down facing each other, one arm over each other's back and the other arm up top holding hands.

Style 2 is you lying on your back and your gf lying on her stomach, on your stomach. The arms can then flop any old which way they want and nobody will by lying on them!

Style 3 is a regular spooning style, only you put your arms up and over the other person, not underneath. I suppose you could also insert one of your arms through the "neck hole" of the other person (gap above shoulder).

Once I get a gf I will return with actual data. Here is just the theory. Indeed, human beings knew how birds flew before building the first airplane.
