Every apartment block ive ever been in (which is only 5 but still) has had a launderette which has been open 24/7. I just go do my laundry at midnight or something. Besides which, it doesnt cost 6 dollars to do the laundry (maybe australiabucks but i have no reference for how much they are in real money).
