It's another great day to be a wagie.

I work in the trades during the week and bartend on weekends. I don't mind it. Keeps my mind of my crippling OCD / depression / loneliness. I get human interaction at work, where otherwise I don't have much.

I used to be able to medicate myself with vidya and nerd shit but that doesn't really work anymore

I have the same. My job isn't that bad and the people there are nice to me, but it can be extremely stressful when things don't go as expected.

It's when I get home that I realise how absolutely lonely I am and how empty my life actually is. I want to pick up a hobby but I'm just so exhausted 90 percent of the time.

Got a job interview at AMC, I'm pretty afraid cause I'm a really incompetent person, I'm worried I will mess up the math when selling tickets, or drop the popcorn, or put too much salt on it. I really hope I get the job, but I have to drive 30 minutes to get there, and that's far, and my car needs to get fixed, cause I haven't changed the oil in like a year almost. It's way overdue, I need the money though.

I got to go in and hour guys, anybody have tips, I'm just going to wear jeans with a nice belt and a button down shirt. I don't own slacks. I got this though.

I've been doing a night shift at a grocery store for about 5 months now with some prior experience.

There's this one guy who acts like he cant do anything wrong and is always complainig. He also happens to be a "lea hand". First day on job he starts telling me what to do. I've been there 4 years now so I just ignore him.

I hardly think of my childhood, I've forgotten the names and faces of people that were part of my life for years. If I don't tend to my memories like the curator of a museum, they just slip away, replaced with my modern mind and like most contemporary art, these new pieces are not as enjoyable as those lost to history. Is this normal for others?
