Biking, at moderate effort, can burn about 600-ish calories an hour. If you're going to be playing vidya while biking I doubt that you'll be putting maximum or even moderate effort into it.

If you want to properly exercise youre going to have to devote some attention and energy to it. However, 4000 is feasible if you include maintenance (and why wouldnt you?). The GDA calorific intake is the expected maintenance, IE youre expected to need 2500 calories just to maintain your weight. However, this does expect some level of exercise. 4000 could be optimistic but its not unfeasible. If you really have 20 hours free time a day (dont you fucking sleep or something?) then its certainly achievable.

On paper it seems terrible but it's surprisingly not bad at all. My stomach is growling right now but I don't even really register it--it's just a sound without any craving or desire behind it. I also get no urge to snack anymore when just two or three months ago I'd eat something every hour out of pleasure or out of boredom. Usually my meal is around the mid-afternoon but I don't think it matters much when yours is as long as you're eating at a deficit.

The way I see it is this: I could eat meals I don't like three to five times a day just to be full, or I could save up all my calories to eat a meal I do like once a day. Today I had a tasty grilled chicken breast and tomorrow night I'll have TWO (2!) delicious hamburgers and a 100 calorie pudding snack for dessert. That said, it ultimately comes down to personal preference and maybe eating multiple smaller meals will be better for you. Whichever way you wind up going, good luck, anon!

I'm 6'2", though, so it's not too bad, but still overweight. I think my ideal non-muscular weight is something like 180. Losing weight is really easy for me, though, as I already eat at a caloric loss, I'm just really sedentary. When I was doing minimal (and I mean minimal) but regular exercising, I went from 250 at might highest to about 215-210 in about 3 or 4 months. I've started dieting and exercising, a few days ago. I only drink water now, and just cut whatever I would normally eat in half. Recovering from the exercise is hard. They say to give yourself a couple days to recooperate when you're starting off, but I feel like something is wrong. I feel like my muscles are tense for days afterwards, and it hurts to relax them. Someone suggested I actually stretch before doing stuff, next time.

The short answer is yes. Almost all kettlebell exercises are done from a standing or squatting position and then involve pretty much all of your body with a strong focus on your core muscles.

been eating less and less very slowly over the course of a year.

I also smoke weed. I smoke more than I drink when I can. But when I'm out of weed I drink which is calories, then get drunk and hungry at 11pm which is bad.

But smoking, if I haven't done it in a little bit, I get too high and get mad munchies and end up eating what was supposed to be my week's cheese for sandwiches for lunch in 2 days. But I've got it under control now since it's the week.

Thanks, if anybody is curious, I was actually 280 about 4 years ago, managed to drop down to 210, then rebounded back up to 240-250ish.

Then sorta got my mental shit together and got back on the train again last year.

My advice is to count your calories, count everything you eat. Keep a notebook in your pocket and look up everything on your phone on how much calories it is.

If you're 250 pounds, try not to go over 2400 calories, if 280, not over 2700, and just cut it by about 100 calories as you drop in weight. It's a slow process especially if you don't work out/exercise, but it works.

And if you have hunger pangs, just drink iced/chilled water. My fridge is just filled with dozens of bottles of water and I just guzzle that shit constantly, like 1-2 bottles an hour.

Start this week. All you need to do is count the calories in the food you're eating each day this week.

Next week, start eating a little bit less in calories.

Just eat a little bit less than what you did last week, and keep counting the calories.

After a while, start going on some walks. Try to set a goal calorie limit.

Then you can do some more streneous exercise.
