Coffee thread

What I've really enjoyed doing these days is blending two kinds of coffee into one pot.

Right now I'm enjoying a mix of Bustelo espresso ground and Chock Full of Nuts 100% Colombian, mixed 50/50.

The Bustelo is of a much finer grind, though, so more of its flavor gets extracted compared to the CFoN. This isn't a problem unless you don't like Bustelo to begin with.

Anyway, the flavor is really good and significantly better than either of these two coffees on their own. I recommend trying it.

I started to drink instant coffee because it's the easiest way to get cold coffee very fast.

Don't get why ppl want to drink hot coffee when there is a 10h+ old cold coffee standing around.

Think french press sucks hard.

Cold brewed coffee is best.

I like coffee, but can't drink more than two cups. After that point, I get really jittery, my fingers start tingling, and it's hard to concentrate. Am I just a lightweight?

When i drink coffee i want it to last for at least half an hour and thats absolutly impossible with espresso.

No, you make big ones. I make a 50cl cup of espresso, and then drink it thorough an hour. As soon as it's empty, I fill it back up.

It's similar to normal coffee, except that it's not brewed, so it takes like 1-2 mins to make it from scratch, and it has more taste. But it's a little more expensive: after calculations, each cup of coffee costs me about 10 cents, which is still not much.

Hot coffee is just easier to drink and helps warm you up if you're in a cold climate though. Cold coffee is only good without sugar/additives though.

I skipped the coffee so far today and just went out and bought Burnett's (vodka). Too much depressing shit going on these days.

When it comes to coffee I like to grind the beans and put them in the french press. Best method, period.

It does bother me somewhat how most people who order coffee just get it loaded with cream and table cocaine, or get a fancy latte which might as well be a warm milkshake. It's more frustration with Western civilization's increasing gluttonous decadence, having to make even a basic drink like coffee fattening, for me. I don't know if anyone else thinks this is a problem

It does work, but I don't want to have to keep spending $3 every other day. I hope I get used to ~6 hours of sleep from now on. Regular coffee doesn't do anything to me.

You drink doubles or triples for that.
The entire idea of the espresso is that you order it, stand at the counter, drink it in one go and then you leave.
Espresso isn't very comfy, but it has the best flavor, by a large margin.

I am a raging faggot who makes coffee by manual pour-over technique. It does actually taste better. Also beans must be ground immediately before brewing.
