So here's a question for you autists. Why do gill shapes make me cringe? Like, involuntary, full, creeped out cringe. Some examples, from most to least cringe, include horse laminae, certain skin problems, fish gills, and mushrooms. Pic related, it's horse laminae.
Trypophobia. Google it
I want to touch and feel every part of OP pic related out of morbid curiosity
A layer of fish netting surgically placed under your thigh skin.

Idk in general, but your pic makes me think of exposed nerves. Like that unprotected hoof looks so incredibly sensitive I'm almost wincing in anticipated pain.

I would be extremely satisfying.

But that's not a gill, that's the nerves under the hard part off a hoof.

But that's not a reading comprehension, that's a (You).
Interesting looking paintbrush.
Gotta comb that shit

I think it reminds you of the inner workings of your body; your nerves, blood vessels, and other similar branching structures (like lungs) that would be extremely painful to witness in real life. Nobody wants to see their own organs on the outside, and those pics remind you of this uncomfortable feeling.
It looks like a viscous wound or disease and your instinctual mind wants you to do something to respond - flee, clean it, bite it off, anything.

It is and if you disagree you're the kind of faggot that belongs on tumblr complaining about depression because someone got your pronouns wrong

It is an actual phobia, but tumblrites see a google image of a bunch of holes and get slightly uncomfortable and go OMG I'M TRYPOPHOBIC. If we judged phobias by how often they were reported on Tumblr, Trypophobia would at least be guaranteed to be in the top 20

I've been obsessing for the last 10 minutes on the beauty of this picture. I didn't read till after figuring out what it was. Am I into gore now or does someone agree this is a nice gradient?
I want to put that in my mouth and suck/gnaw on it. I bet it would taste really meaty

Except it isn't. Disgust towards small holes folds and crevices in living creatures is normal. Everyone gets disgusted by maggot infestations and things like that. It isn't a phobia
