why does beer give worse hangovers than vodka despite having way less alcohol?
makes you dehydrated

It's because the lower alcohol percent makes it take effect slowly, and you drink more to compensate. You even up drinking more total alcohol.
You drink more, therefore you also piss more, dehydrating you. If you drink water the last hours before bed it wont be half as bad,
>Drink a bunch of water before bed
>Eat something before bed
>Don't go to bed drunk
Congratulations, you have now avoided a hangover no matter what you drank.

let me let you in on a little secret from a veteran alcoholic that's killing himself by drinking all day, every day. Want to avoid hangovers? After drinking, eat some food, drink lots of water and take a multivitamin and b complex. Give yourself about an hour or two before sleep. Keep sipping on water until bed. Easy. I drink over a liter of liquor a day, or 4-6 40oz of malt liquor. No hangovers.

Wine is unequivocally the worst hangover

Let me ask you, I get sore after like 2 beers and wake up feeling really shitty. Is it possible to have some bad reaction to beer, particularly? I feel fine with liquor. But could there be something with the fermented yeast/malt in beer that gives a particularly bad reaction?

how much do you weigh?
Originally?

Im heavy. around 200 pounds
Why I hate alcohol
Beer: massive headaches, medium hangover, lots of calories
Wine: can't get passed buzzed, hangovers from hell literally
Hard Liquor: tastes horrific even the next day I can taste and smell it
It all sucks, but sometimes you just have that type of day at work where you say fuck it

Odd. Do you drink often? A tolerance is really nothing more than consistent practice paying off. If you drink infrequently or in small amounts, you never really develop one.

high sugar content
Can't wakeup hungover if you wakeup drunk robo

It sounds like you have a gluten allergy man.
2 beers should be nothing.

Not that guy, but yeah, it is the type of beer.
I couldn't drink Coors or Bud for the longest time. They just made me sick.
I also have a skin condition now. Gets better when I don't drink, or eat a lot of junk carbs.

But I can't sleep if I'm not drunk
I've literally never had a hangover even though I get drunk on a regular basis (about 2-3 nights a week).
Sometimes it gets the point where I feel nauseous and dizzy though the next morning I feel great.
I almost never get drunk on beer, that's more of a relaxing drink for me, though vodka/whiskey/other hard liquors get me drunk fast... I don't think I've ever gotten real drunk from just drinking beer aside from just feeling warm and happy

I rarely get hangovers but I think it's probably because I almost always sleep in. Last night I got really drunk and went to sleep at around midnight and woke up at 5 or 6am. I literally felt like I was going to die.
