dumb question
I don't know a shit about painting
did your painting follows any technical resource?
I mean, surrealism, idealism, positivism, etc.
Or you just do what you imagine without worry about your paint having any sense?
in that case what movement or technique are you using?
me and my friends like to joke about this old pizza bagel commercial with tony hawk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSMXTGc4LDAhave His "rape grin" in the commercial led to this inside joke that tony hawk is a huge rapist, and we have this idea for a video about it.
>opens with a crane shot of some kids, all 9-14 years old, skating in one of those bowl ramp things
>you get a view of inside the bowl with all the skates skating
>suddenly one of the kids points up to the sky
>"woah, tony hawk!"
>insert shot looking straight up from the inside of the bowl at tony's silhouette flying through the sky
>tony lands in the bowl doing a manual
>"hey kids, did you guys know that all women love rape?" (when tony says "all women" he brings his hand up to that "rock on" or "surfs up" gesture, and when he says "rape", he begins to wiggle said hand back and forth
>kids react excited and amused
>"woah, really!?"
>"yeah, man" from tony
>one of the kids speaks up
>"what about my mom?"
>tony responds in a really slurred voice, doing the gesture from before, with a rape grin
>"only one way to find out!"
>all of the kids follow tony out of the bowl on their skateboards, with tony manualing in the front
>as they begin to ride away into the sunset, tony begins to fly up into the air on his board (still manualing) into the sun
>the end
>>35785438
i dont generally thought about movements but i guess that painting in particular shares some values with surrealism but again i dont think about that sort of stuff while painting. i start with an idea. a person with a lack of in depth sight (a single eye) coming from a monochrome underwater to a colorful and diverse surface. he is carrying a formless being that causes him anguish. after having that idea i execute. its mostly methaporic
>>35785492
there's also a much darker idea for a video we have
>first person view
>looking forward running through a dimly lit street at night
>in this universe, when in pursuit of his victims, the rapist must say "rape" every step he takes, and the victim must scream as loud as he can every step they take. if the rapist doesn't comply, he must take a step back and say "consent" and if the victim doesnt comply, he must scream in reverse and he gets sucked backward a distance against his will
>so while youre looking forward running, youre screaming the entire time
>occasionally you quicly look back, where you get a quick glimpse of tonys shadow far away
>under the sound of your screaming, you can hear the sound of a skateboard rolling against pavement
>its slowly getting louder
>more of shots of you looking back, with tony getting closer with each one
>I forgot to mention, tony is manualing the whole time
>once tony gets pretty close, you can start to hear the sound of him saying "raaaaaaaaape"
>he gets to draw the word out very long because hes on a skateboard so he only has to say it with each thrust of his leg, not every step
>toward the end of the video, you forget to scream
>you stop running, and your breathing heavily
>looking forward, youre suddenly pulled backward a distance with the sound of you screaming in reverse playing
>you look back and Tony is RIGHT there, and you can hear the sound of his skateboard and him saying "raaaaaaaape"
>tony rides right into the camera, as close he can get
>cuts to black
>rape me by nirvana starts playing
>the end

I haven't written much in the past month because I've been playing Breath of the Wild, finally beginning to understand fighting games and volunteering. I've been writing down concepts and ideas as the come but I've been on hold in regards to actually writing them properly. I'm starting to get back on track though.
I wrote another sketch the other day. I'm still not confident enough in my abilities to start on a big project yet.
I'm mostly happy with this one. I'm really happy with the comedic structure, I'm becoming better at finding a hook to end on but holy shit, I can't write authentic female dialogue. It's been so long since I've spoken to or interacted with a normie, non-autistic woman that wasn't over 50 years old (especially a standard female high-school student) that I just don't know how they communicate.
The female character pretty much says only one thing in the entire script but it's a key point and I just can't get it to sound natural.

nice twist, it was funny. just the phone call reveal wouldn't have been that funny on itself.
the twist makes some of the man's early lines a little contrived but that's a nitpick.
i don't think the girl's dialogue is an issue because the sketch revolves a lot around preconceived stereotypes.
Here's a couple of orphaned jokes with no script to call home.
A romantic moment between two lovers.
>But I've never kissed anyone before! I don't even know how.
>It's easy doll-face. It's just like playing a didgeridoo. You just lean in close, put your lips together and go PPPBBBBBLLLLLBBBBBTTTTT.
A detective confronts his suspect.
>The blood on his necktie, the unexplained injuries on your forearm, the tire tracks at the scene of the crime. It all points to you.
>Well done detective! You have been working hard but you see, you've made one little mistake. I could not have been at the crime scene last night as I was committing the murder of Abigail Granger on the other side of town! If you check behind her headboard, you'll find the blood-stained murder weapon with my fingerprints all over it.
>Blast! It's the perfect alibi.
I don't know. It's just a dude speaking.
>Everyone loves dad jokes. My dad had this one joke he loved telling. I'd walk up to him and say something like, "Can I have something to eat? I'm HUNGRY." Then he'd say "Thanks for ruining my life and saddling me with your fat, psycho cunt of a mother".

I have a kind of odd request but it is best posted here. I have this autistic story from my childhood that I have been continuing for years, and I've been trying to record it as best as I can. I have written a lot of it (over 300,000 words) in prose, but it is fragmented and I am realizing it will never really finish. So I am thinking perhaps I can tell the story in a sort of animatic way, maybe with some music in the background as well. Simply because so much of it is visual. The problem is I am a fucking awful artist and cannot draw for shit. So my options are a bit limited. One, is this pixel art which I make using Paint.net and some various techniques. I know the program fairly well but I am not exactly a master, and the frames take a long time to make as well.
>>>/wsg/1610175
Here is the other one (link because the webm is literally 2.06 MB and I'm too lazy to compress it). These are just line drawings which are quicker to make but take a while to scan in and crop and what not.
My question is: which should I go with for the long term? Especially considering I have wheel-of-time levels of plot volume to cover, even when I cut out a lot of it. My ideal would be a drawing tablet where I could just do shitty MS-paint-tier doodles and color them and save them and then arrange them on the computer, and I could probably make a lot of progress. But I am not sure how much a cheap drawing tablet would be, and how aggravating they are to draw on.
Just any advice you have would be good. I know that both of my posts are shitty but I feel a great need to express this story somehow and just the manuscript won't be enough, I don't even care much if anyone reads it, I just need to create it. It's hard to explain.

Roughly 8 hours from start to completion.
I did an initial rough draft, then scripted it out fully while simultaneously sourcing all the sound effects I'd need so that took an hour or so..
The voice recording took around an hour and a half because I recorded a sentence or two at a time for easier editing and did a lot of retakes.
The final editing process took up most of my time and I spent a good half an hour just working on creating the perfect cacophony for the orgasm sound effect.
It was a very fun day.

Here already?
But He wasn't ready yet
Been around a few years
thought he still had plenty left
Spent the last few
Paying off some heavy debt
Slavin all week,
Workin hard for a steady check
Feelin vexed
Cursed to dwell in his regret
Always thinking about the past
That he wish he could forget
Feelin stressed
He starts puffin on a cigarrette
Burning holes in his brain
in his pocket
In his chest
He tries his best
To deny the fact that he's depressed
Moth like
he's drawn to light and
becomes obsessed
But whats the catch?
the closer to the light he gets
The darkness comes too
Growin bigger like a silhoutte
He needs to vent
But instead he always keeps it pent up inside his brain, always playing
Like an old casette
He's so upset
he thinks about how far this went
how far he has to go
he aint even close to through yet
Well screw that
A mental world war two vet
Decides its his time
And tries out Russian Roullete
What was next
Guess we'll never find out
Put the gun to his head blew his fucking mind out

>>35797157
Thank you anon, that's very nice of you to say.
I wasn't going to post this as to not seem like a shill, but I do have an album/EP I recorded a bit over a year ago. Fair, warning it's still pretty amateurish and I do think I've improved a good bit since then, but here it is anyways.

I'm not sure when I'll get around to properly recording a new album, though I am sitting on a decent amount of material. Hopefully sometime relatively soon.

i drew this in paint in december and still think it looks kinda neat
I make women pure
>>35797843
this is very unsettling
both the image and the fact you spend time doing this.

Pure, my ass.
>>35797843
That's pretty neat.
Post more please.

It's absolutely beautiful anon
Not normally into poetry but this shit was top tier, absolutely lovely
>>35787218
This is great. You a T.S. Eliot fan?
>tfw no friends to send my fucked up art and stories too
>tfw when the only three I have left are drifting apart ever so slowly
Of all the tragedies I've written, how did my life end up the most fucked up?

I used to have over a hundred of these but that hard drive is gone. I only have a handful of them now.
I took four years of art classes, including a college level course in high school. I was decent, but not good.
Also did some poetry and prose shit, the poetry was incredibly sappy and derivative, and the prose was derivative and cynical. Most of it is lost in the ether of the internet now though. I feel like writing is my best artistic skill, next to oration, but I can hardly find the motivation to actually do it.
Kind of decent at singing, ended up getting drafted into the school musical, did alright.
Have sort of a jack of all trades, master of none thing going on. I can't keep focus or interest on something enough to really master it, it would seem.
Recently I've done some photomanipulation, but that doesn't really count.
>>35798586
and one last one for now... probably
>>35798586
Please post all you have.
Why do you do it?
What's your thought process?
Would you say you have an abnormal sexuality?
I find this very interesting.
>>35798587
ah shit image exported wrong
having trouble getting this to a decent size
Another shill since the last thread. This ones really nice i think, very emotional track for me

https://soundcloud.com/kytrooper/preview-11-chordos-pretty-chill-i-think
Closest to my usual style (sort of?) in the sense that it is very focused on electro/glitchhop sort of effects. This ones pretty weird tho but a pretty dope drop if ur into that
https://soundcloud.com/kytrooper/preview-10-weird-but-fun-feedback-pls
Self shilling pretty very hard, normally I would just post one track, but this is first time in my life where there's more than one track I'm happy with :D feelsgoodforonce!
All songs are just previews right now
>>35798638
Lmao why do literally ALL your grills have lazy eyes? Are you adding this in? Wtf anon?
Sometimes I make gondola pictures with a bit of music in mind, no one knows I do this and I sometimes post them here.

I change almost everything about their bodies, remove toes or fingers, change eyes, mess with the background, remove most creases.
This picture for example, i changed her teeth, smoothed some facial creases on only one side of her face, stature is different, removed a finger, and etc...
>>35798658
I would say most people would think so. I have never been intimate with anyone in my entire life in any sense of the word. I think the last substantial human contact I had was a hug about a year and a half ago. Im just shy of 29. So its safe to say im mostly broken. I do have a pretty good mask when im in public though.
>>35798816
whoops forgot the picture
asdfasdf
>>35798816
Why do you change what you change?
Do you have to change specific things each time or do you choose certain things in each picture that leap out at you?
Do you get sexual arousal from it or is it a platonic satisfaction?
Bump pls no dead thread on my head!
>>35798854
Some of it is spontaneous. The basics are to make them into a "barbie" essentially. No nips, belly buttons, genitalia. I didn't always mess with the eyes or background . That came quite a bit later.
On some of them im actually laughing while im making them. Im pretty sure this one was one of them
>>35798638
Once i moved the eye around i thought it just looked so goofy.
So not sure why I do it only that I like too.
>>35799295

If this post is dubs you have to call it Lint Rag.
If this post is not dubs, you should call it Lint Rag anyway.
>tfw make videos for youtube but never post them bc I'm afraid of anons and reddit finding and making fun of them mercilessly
I have one where I play two characters on a talkshow (host and guest) and "we" talk shit about and review 1984 (host hasn't read it and guest did not understand it at all), then quickly decide fascism is cool
>>35800825

>>35800891
Dude, fucking post it.
The concept that you've described is highly similar to a few scripts that I want to do (e.g. Interviewing myself as seperate characters) and I want to see how you approached it.
I have a good idea of how I want to do it but I want to see your take on it.
>>35796729
ayy lmao it's you, I was legit just listening to your stuff earlier when i was walking home from my friend's house
>>35798323
cool structuring. that drive-esque vibe is always a good thing to have. you could improve on that stream-of-consciousness flow, make it flow better and draw the environment clearer, show more things happening outside
Random doodles I do

This reminds me of the time I thought I had HPPD.
This one I did in pencil

I was being serious about not being able to get on my computer (out of town). So I'll just describe it:
>Internet talkshow where host has a one-off guest and takes topics from callers.
>Host is your typical fake type and guest is Tommy, some guy from New England
>Host introduces show
>Caller #1: Hey, what do you guys think about the upsurge in purchases of 1984? Do you think it says something about the state people are in right now?
>Host: Ah yes, 1984. That's a book. I for one am glad we started reading again. It's time we eliminated illiteracy in this country!
>Tommy goes into tirade about being unable to identify with a guy named Winston because people named Winston don't get laid
>Host agrees
>Tommy and the host talk about this for a while
>Tommy: "You know who i bet gets laid all the time? Winston's big brother"
>Host agrees but wants "exposition for the audience"
>Tommy tells how Big Brother is always watching out for Winston and his family despite being famous and powerful then calls George Orwell a pussy for not making him the main character instead of Winston
>Host: Sounds like someone I'd follow.
>Tommy: Yeah me too! With someone like him in charge we'd be doing all kinds of cool shit! It's like Hail to the chief? Nah, hail to Big Brother!
>Host: Hail to big brother!
>>35784044
Hi OP, your threads and art are nice as always

It's cool though, it's the kind of picture you can stare at for a long time trying to figure out the shapes
I make electronic music

Hey, I recognize this drawing style. Aren't you that depressed girl?
>>35804263
You should get a flexible nib fountain pen, it would work great with those lines of varying thickness. Everything looks better when drawn with a fountain pen. I like your style.

Had to take this with the front facing camera, its a bit off.
>so that we may be free
>>35804357
Interesting. I may look into that. I haven't created anything for months on end, though. . .
I think I hate my own work too much to care.
>>35804274
Yeah. I'm that depressed girl. That's me.
>>35804827
Keep at it, no one likes their own work. The Noodler's ink Konrad or FPR flex are good, its surprisingly hard to find flexible nib pens.
>>35804827
Well I'm glad you still post. The last time I saw you was a while ago in a femanon thread posting a drawing of strong hands on a girls neck.
