They're miserable, and don't really enjoy life so they treat people like the irritating simulations that they really are. Or they're deluded and force a personality because they think being jaded is "giving up"

These are the ones so sensitive to judgement because it's all they can do to pretend to want to participate in society because getting up and picking out an outfit for the day is too hard.
