It's disturbing to think about, but it's a fact. My mother isn't me; human beings are truly severed at such a base level. You're not built to grieve for an eternity.

My mom died 5 years ago. At first i didnt even believe it. I was just in shock. I acted like nothing was wrong for like a month. Then the pain just crushed me in waves. It takes time -- it took me about 3 years for my life to get back to normal, but the pain is still there and will never go away. A memory will still spark intense sadness.
