I enjoyed it till the end, though the ending was incredibly abrupt and unfulfilling for me. I'm unsure if maybe that's what the author wanted though, I feel like I remember near the start that Hiro's mangas were criticized for the main character not being very heroic and the ends of his stories being unfulfilling

I've been told both in person and secondhand (people have said about me that is) that I'm interesting, and even the most interesting person they'd ever met. Other times people are obviously bored by me

I think it's a matter of lacking the normie social skills to be entertaining doing small talk, but being well educated and read as well as having lived abroad for several years does help make you more interesting when talking about ideas, politics etc
