I was telling someone my theory about how I thought a rapist was innocent and part of my scenario had him giving his pants to the alleged victim to wear as hers were soiled by urine. The person I was speaking to then said:

... Like, this is why it's better to not bother with speaking because 90% of people love in some imaginary land where cars can't go through the ignition sequence if the driver is pants less. Fuck.

The cab driver was apprehended by police with with a girl, not wearing pants or underwear, and with her legs propped up on the front seats. A typical rape, it would seem.
I contend that the evidence might add to something else. The girl's pants and underwear were found inside out, in the front, and soaked with urine, but the forensics team found no urine on the backseats. That means, not only did she not urinate herself in the taxi, she did not sit there with soiled pants. My order of events:
>Taxi picks up drunk woman
>woman requests stop to vomit/piss
>cabbie lets her out, after stopping in a secluded area
>something happens to her, likely, she pisses on herself an d passes out
>cab driver leaves and finds her in that state
>he can't just leave her on the ground in cold weather
>so, in order to keep piss off his seats, he takes her pants the rest of the way off
>then he carries her to his car, and props her legs up on the front seats to keep his cab clean
>realizes he can't drop this girl off half naked, so unbuttons his pants to cover her up
>this is when the cops approach
>naturally, he panics when he realizes what this looks like, and tries to hide her clothes he is holding
