What's the point?
Why should I try to work for a better world while there are so many selfish individuals who put their own interests for power, money, luxury and comfort above any basic respect for others and their well-being.
There can be countless people who selflessly help and support others, but it only needs one egoist who is willing to exploit them to undermine all those efforts.
How can we hope for a better world if there are people who actively work against any progress.
