Is being smart in and of itself a talent? Nothing interesting

When you reach the age and level of maturity when you understand that you're not smart either, at least not in any way that matters, your life will start.

as for IQ, i haven't taken it because i'm pretty sure i would only be around 105

No it's not unless you're genius level of smart. If you're just slightly above average intelligence nobody will care.

For me I didn't fear getting bullied, I just wanted to impress my teachers and the other students. It was pretty ego satisfying whenever I got really good grades while mostly everyone else was lower.

There's more than 35,000 high schools in America alone. Each has probably 30 or 40 kids who think that they are particularly smart. Then, you go to college, where they import tons of foreign kids that are even smarter. You barely register as a statistic. Especially as you will likely go to a shitty non-Ivy school. Nobody will ever again be impressed with how smart you think you are.

Without talent or rich/famous parents, you are not special and will spend your life working a marginally better job than your idiot high school classmates before dying alone.
