Guy with a mentally ill girl here. Don't fucking do it unless you're stable yourself. Don't do it if you have self esteem issues, don't do it if you're submissive, don't do it if you have depression/anxiety, and especially don't do it if you're small and weak (both physically and mentally).

Been with her for almost a year now, and I can tell you, I'm pretty stable myself, but sometimes it gets rough because of all her problems. The only way you will be able to help her is if you can help yourself.

Don't try and fall for this "road to recovery" bullshit. You'll only make it worse for yourself.

That being said, I love my girl, but seriously, don't try this shit unless you know what you're getting in to.
