I tend to apologize a lot and talk to people about their feelings.

In addition to that, I give money to every homeless person I see.

I don't really come across as emotional though, I'm kind of stoic to be honest, and when I'm talking to people about how they feel about their lives I'm pretty goal oriented, I like to identify problems and present solutions, not pat people on the back. I also really like to argue about shit both IRL and in real life.

I would think sensors benefit more from direct intervention and self-help books because they have less information available, generally less ability to draw conclusions from their perceptions. They're good at collecting knowledge but not at understanding its implications. So the relationship between themselves and the world probably tends to be more outwardly directed, whereas an intuitive acknowledges the effect it has on them in addition to their actions within it.

Intuitives are helped by their ability to grasp the whole without necessarily needing to explore every little detail. What I meant is that sensors can have a lot of knowledge but they have to go step-by-step and usually end up being sort of narrow-minded specialists because they're not as abstract as intuitives.

Usually sensors seem more grounded in what's happening and what's happened while intuitives are more interested in what might or what will happen.

For example, a sensor might avoid discussing philosophy or abstract concepts like existence because thy don't see the concrete value of doing it in the real world. Debating the merits of humanity won't affect actual change, so why waste the time and energy? That isn't to say they're unintelligent or incapable of understanding such concepts, though. Don't consider yourself as being stupid or lazy. Academics only really measure certain kinds of intelligence and thought processes which not everyone is intellectually equipped for. Only served a year inna FDF during conscription, trained into an NCO, so can't speak for combat or extended time in the field. Also can't speak for all INTP naturally.
From what I know of INTP, you'll probably learn most soldier's skills fast and easy if you're interested, being a sponge for shallow knowledge. Though a lack of caring may cause issues in studies if you go beyond basic grunt work, especially if you get left behind due to illness or injury, which might cause stress and fuck-ups down the line. (personally spent nearly a month out of full service due to pneumonia, didn't catch up and had to pay for it later.)
Extended routines suck, started my days hating everything at the end of my service and found being innawoods in the suck to be superior to being innabarracks, simply because of the added freedom and no real routines.
Pretending to be motivated and a leader is awful, but it's pretty easy to pretend and fool your underlings into appreciating you. Pretending to be sociable is likewise easy, but tiring.
My worst issue, as an NCO was difficulty making decisions. There is simply too much information and too many possibilities to make the kind of well thought-out decisions I would like to make, especially since oftentimes you'll find yourself having to make snap decisions, for better or worse, with no actual correct choices. Overanalysis is a constant threat and being forced into thinking in a way you're not good at, you'll be prone to stupid mistakes, but you'll learn well from each and every one. Though I personally still feel like absolute shit over each and every one of my failures and fuck-ups, but that could just be the depression.

I would personally recommend service if you're interested, but it might get to you if it continues for years.

Got put into a supply company, hated the idea, especially since I'd spent time getting fit solely so I'd get into a combat role, so I escaped into signals NCO school. Wanted to become a signals officer, but missed half the tests and the chance due to the aforementioned pneumonia, so stayed as an NCO. Fairly interesting, if 90% of the work in the field didn't involve having the grunts build cable connections into the wee hours of the morning in thigh deep snow. It's really unmotivating work, especially to the more motivated lads who got put into supply, well below their capabilities.

INFPs are functionally pretty terrible, but at least you're the third most intelligent type.

As far as Jungian theory goes, its legit. Its not perfect but its the best personality theory out there, based on hundreds of patients Jung has treated. MBTI is a meme tho, people arent honest enough for the test to be accurate. You need to study functions and type yourself that way.

Physically, I've noticed I like guys with dark, curly hair. Height isn't too important to me; I would actually like someone the same height as me or maybe within 1 or 2 inches of my height (I'm 5'8").

Emotionally, someone I can have fun with and go out and do cool things.

I have never met an ENTJ girl in my life and I doubt that they even exist, and even when they exist, they are probably to handsome and won't bother with an INTP. I recommend every INTP to stay alone, we know best what's good for us.

I don't really have a decent source for you, most of what I'm going to say is based off of what I've read in these threads and thought of on my own.
The MBTI tests you often find on the internet are usually faulty or inaccurate and their results are helpful in typing yourself, but they're not very good personality indicators aside from simply a springboard into the actual theory. A lot of people who criticize MBTI criticize the tests, which is perfectly valid but has nothing to do with the actual meat of it: cognitive functions. Generally, MBTI is best used as a tool for introspection because each type as a "stack" of functions that describe the methods of cognitions that each type tends to use and the order in which they develop. If you want to know if you actually are an INFP and what that implies, look up the cognitive functions and read up. You'd probably be better off not knowing, though. INFP is hell.
Some people will say that the Big Five is a better personality metric. I personally think that while it is likely less prone to error due to making less assumptions about the inner workings of the mind, it is also extremely shallow. While I'm no expert on it, it seems to be basically,
"Question 1: would you consider yourself to be an introvert?"
"Why, yes, I would"
"Hmmm, your test results indicate that you are very introverted."
"How insightful"
I know it's based off of statistics and all, but I find it incredibly basic and not worth really discussing. That's just me though.

Im INTJ with weak Te. I wanted an ENTJ gf so she can help me realize my ideas irl. Of course i would first have to like her as a person, but i figured if im going to be with someone anyways (probably not but one can dream), why not be with someone who can help me become more succesful? But it seems like most ENTJ girls arent really interested in anything beyond their own personal goals.
