Look for low calorie bread. My local grocery store has some bread that is only 50 calories per bread slice. Yeah sure, it tastes like cardboard, but I always toast my bread for sandwiches so that doesn't even matter since toasting it makes it taste a bit better since it adds some smokiness to it. Now I can eat 2 sandwiches for almost the same amount of calories that the sandwiches I used to make with 120 calorie per slice of bread.
