Should I go? I've never done anything like this and I think if I do go I'll just be the sperg lord that I usually am x10 if I do go. Again only normans go to those kinds of things and I can't really apply myself to things like that. I've never had an opportunity to do something like this. The girl isn't like really cute but she isn't an abomination either. Should I say no?

You won't need to interact with anyone else besides the girl really. I'm sure she'll be anxious too, all you need to do is bring up something small to get the conversation snowball rolling. Tell her she looks pretty and ask her about something she's looking forward to, girls like to talk about themselves and their interests. They're pretty talkative too, so you won't need to say much really, just let her know you're listening, and add in some interjections every here and there. Just talk about easy stuff like tv or music.
