So what is Australia like?
Is the outback like the wild west in the states? Are there really kangaroos everywhere? Do people say "cunt" a lot?
Tell me, what is australia like?

Abbos everywhere.
Sniffing glue and jenking in every ally.
Lots of 'roos, lots of bats. Anything more exotic you have to actively look for. People don't faint every time they hear "cunt" like they do in the States, but I wouldn't say it's any more common than in the UK or Kiwiland.
Generally high living standards, although the income inequality is pretty high in some places. The natives are trash, the immigrants vary from alright to trash, as do the locals.

OP here.
Is the outback some lawless frontier full of banditos and drifters and 'roos?

Not really. The main danger is running out of juice 200km from the nearest petrol station and dying from the heat. It's a very safe country, crime-wise. The worst bits are the abbo communities and culturally-enriched suburbs, but even those are not that bad. You might get smacked in the face but no one carries guns, very few people carry knives.

I've read before that they have pretty much the highest minimum wage.
Most people don't live in the Outback. Very few do. I've never been. The "small" towns are nice. Suburbs suck. Healthcare is great. Dental isn't socialised, but it's affordable. Weather is bad. Sun is far too strong. It's almost the 2nd month of Autumn, and yet the weather is like a humid Spring, and I live in 2nd-coldest state. The working-class people are good. That includes the women. They're sluts, of course, but they're nice. The middle-class men are alright, but the women are terrible.

Outback girls like it in the butt.
They are also a fan of knot.
