I can't look away, honestly. The protagonist just seems to be a perpetual failure who has zero understanding of women. I don't know if this is meant to be a dark comedy or something, but I fucking lost it when he thought the girl inviting him over to "Smash" meant she wanted to play Super Smash Bros. all night.

Just goes on his phone to shitpost about his shitty life and gets all emotional, then shits all his emotions to go back to studying.
And what the fuck is wrong with his parents? They live in a rich city but have trouble even paying for meat?
How bad can they be at work?
And can his mother for once not fucking burn money? All she spews are ideas then protagonist's dad helps her build her business whether it be a restaurant or a hair dresser and she closes it in 3 weeks?
It's getting boring watching her build a new business every episode.
Also is the protagonist finally going to pull the trigger? It's been hinted at the couple episodes. Looks like the season's about to end anyway. Since the budget is quite tight for the show it might just all end

I don't understand how anybody could find this show entertaining, nothing interesting ever happens and the only fun parts is when the protagonist tries to avoid responsibility and falls on his nose.
The main character is also really unrealistic and flat, nobody would spend nearly all his time infront of a computer and just play videogames and jerk off.

3/10 show the only redeeming parts are that I sometimes have to laugh at just how pathetic this guy really is.

It was fun making a show about a black neet who can't get laid. Real fish out if water shit going there. But this is getting tiresome. His mom is way too overbearing and needs to accept a 23 year old is an adult. The small town setting is boring even if you get a few Trump jokes out of it. Move somewhere interesting. The tone drastically shifted after the 14th season, no idea why this has gone on so long but I'm invested now and don't want to give up. I'll admit, I'm close though, the writers have clearly run out of ideas as every episode is the exact same thing. Nothing happens, except incredibly rarely and it's never because of the protagonist's actions.
He's a unlikeable jaded prick who expects people to feel sorry for him when he's never made any attempt to make his or anyone else's life better.

It's a shame, when the shift first happened it was done rather well, quite a few amusing moments I'm sure fans of the show remember well. However it's dragged on too long and if things don't change soon this show will be cancelled and all fond memories of it's good days will be forgotten.

Everything was going great until the main character got out of the Navy. It was kind of boring in the homeless arc. He just went about town, signed some paper work, and then went back to the shelter. Today's episode we're going to see the MC working his first day at his job. Finally this show is picking up its pace again. I wonder what happened to that Italian chick.

Season 19 wasn't really exciting but rather really repetitive and quite boring. The show is trying to take on a philosophical turn explaining the truth of human nature but its really just almost recap of the past seasons with the protagonist being aware of his wrong doings. Almost all of Season 19 took place in the protagonist's room. One thing to add is that the protagonist finally gets sober after a year at the end of season 19. Season 18 was much more better where it seemed like the show would really take an interesting turning point to focusing on the harsh reality of lower class America with drugs, sex, gang activity, teenage pregnancy, and violence until the show was causing controversy due to the portrayal of minors using Methamphetamine, and the protagonist driving under the influence on drugs. The soundtrack for Season 19 was much better though. It had a mix of vaporwave, synthwave, and 80s music while Season 18 focused only on rap music like Season 17.

Hopefully we'll have something better for Season 20 which is due to premiere next week.

It's entertaining but holy fuck it gets slow at times. I'm interested in seeing his character development since the Shayla arc kinda faltered at the end (Seriously, you're gonna have her say yes then ghost him until he gives up? That's not an ending, that's just fucking lazy). His role at the coffee shop is really neat though, and it'll be nice to see her continue as a recurring character (even if it's mostly in the background).

His constant anime poses when he thinks no one's watching fucking kill me every time.

I don't get his character. He was a sad, miserable bastard for the first few seasons, but one day he wakes up in university as some happy go lucky bastard? It doesn't make sense! He didn't make any breakthroughs with his psychologist, he didn't get a date. It's come out of fucking nowhere. He's writing poetry and shit now, and actually doing well in class too, its nothing like the show I signed up for. There are so many unresolved plot points, he's been approached twice on the street by two different strangers, both of whom complimented his fashion and asked for his number. Yet, though he talked to them, he still hasn't hung out with either? Wtf, who would ask for your number, and then text you, just to not reply when you text them? It's quite frankly ridiculous. And he's falling in love with a close friend, too, fucking yuck. What a basic ass sitcom, fuck you directors for ruining something that was interesting.

The show was a cringe-comedy goldmine for the first 20 seasons, watching the protagonist frequently getting shitted on by most people who comes across his path (even acquaintances, family, and most of all women) for being a total high-functioning autist, always finding himself in socially-humiliating situations more often than not.

But now season 21 is almost nearing, and the cringier moments keep on getting even more cringier and sadder (the main protagonist is a grown ass man at this point, how the FUCK can one remain so damn autistic ffs). At this point, I'm just hoping someone pulls a "world peace" on this show and finally get rid of it once and for all.

Peep Show style comedy about uni student who fucks up every social interaction with hus classmates. Goes home and masturbates to the girls in his class. OK cringe humour, but it sadly never evolves and I drop it after a season of the same premise over and over

Even the social interactions are just safe and boring.

Generally, the ending in a tv show or film doesn't matter as long as the journey is good. But when the journey is this awful and lackluster, you end up finding yourself actively hoping for the oh-so-obvious ending to arrive already, it's not a matter of "if" it's going to end the way I think it does, it's a matter of "when" and "how".

The show started out promising but I quickly lost my sympathy for the protagonist- as did the other characters in the show. He seems to be too lazy to make any life choices to better himself. It is frustrating to watch, not to mention boring. Most of the time the protagonist is seen masturbating to some strange drawn Japanese porn which is funny at first but after a while becomes extremely boring and repetitive. The complete lack of purpose of the protag results in a meandering and ultimately pointless show.
