Does anyone have any advice on how I can improve my speaking skills?
I come out as a nervous autist everytime I attempt to speak and can't structure a coherent sentence together without stammering

I've recently BEGUN stammering or tripping over my words from time to time. Didn't used to happen.

practice speaking.
If you can't think of what to say, try downloading play scripts and going through the dialogue.
Take your time when you speak, try to be relaxed and watch "The Kings Speech" starring Colin Firth

Watch Drive obsessively and emulate Ryan Gosling in every way. You don't need to speak to make people like you.
Over ten years of practice I went from god-awful to just bad, so I may not be the best person to take advice from, but what I think helps is to not skip over errors. If you stammer, or trip over a word, or anything, then shut up, wait for a second, and say the sentence again as slow as you can. If you keep stammering, keep repeating.
You'll look retarded, but at least you will be understood.
