I hit a decade this year, but on an old account that got hacked and locked. I made my new account and the one I currently play on around 2010.

Oldschool Runescape is pretty much the only game I play. it's comfy, usually stress free, and there is always something to do. I love it and it's helped me through a lot of rough times.

ive played off and on since 2004 but have never gotten a skill to 99, never made it past 70 combat level, and have never had more than 1.2million gp because i can't commit to anything

Holy shit I've been playing that long too. I still pay $5 a month for membership. The game used to be so full of wonder... Now I log on and grind out something while posting on r9k. I used to work so hard to do stuff, save up for trimmed armour, and now I've got multiple 99s and have a 100m+ cash stack in my bank with nothing to spend it on.

I actually tried to cancel back in 2012 but it didn't go through, ended up playing osrs and it was still auto-paying. I guess I could pay with bonds but then I'd have to pay full price for membership after that.

What good is construction? I don't care about stuff the new developers put in and I already have 70 prayer.

Construction used to be a great skill back when house parties were popular, sadly it's pretty much useless after you get a gilded alter.

No matter what you do it's never enough. I owned a dice clan for a couple years and ended up making 20b+, enough to buy anything I wanted, phat set, crackers, etc. Sold it all for IRL cash because even when I had multiple max cash stacks in the GE and a bunch of partyhats I still kept wanting more GP

After getting to around 50 cooking, I opened up a "restaurant in the house in south Varrock, the first house you see after passing the dark wizards, it also has a stove and cabbage patch. I'd cook and sell pizzas, cabbage, and other foods to people passing by. Eventually I even got employs who would either collect raw fish or advertise outside. Considering coming back for the 4th time. Where I left off I have a pretty decent zerker (90 mage, quested etc.) but I realized I don't even really like PKing, making him was fun as fuck though.

I don't know if I should start up again and maybe turn him into a main and just slay my days away

Main reasons stopping me from coming back is having to pay the kikes double, and for what, shitty updates like Zeah that don't blend into the actual 2007 RS at all

I hate RS as it is now, but I don't really like the classic server either. My favourite era was just after dungeoneering release (I think 2011) where the game had a lot of features and better graphics but wasn't yet overhauled and retained its original feeling. I am so disappointed that there are no servers like this.

I just started playing again this month after a long break. Been doing a lot of this zulrah boss.

Well not really. Pretty sure the biggest drop in players was caused by removal of wilderness and free trade in tandem. EoC in it's beta state was shit and caused an autist diaspora to OSRS.

Yes, but you couldn't do it while you were fucking sleeping, you had to spend and risk lots of money on chinchompas/ice barrage/burst runes, and ontop of that you had requirements like monkey madness quest for access to monkeys for training, desert treasure for ancient spells and you actually had to get a decent level before you started doing it (80 something range for decent range exp, 80 something for ice burst unlocked). Meanwhile in NMZ any fuckhead with a couple of quests done could actually earn money while sleeping and getting some of the best xp rates in the game while they also earned money.

Just find the 3 methods that make you loads of money and use that to buy your way to 99s in all the trade skills. For gathering just do the 1 method that makes you the most xp an hour
