NEET of three years here. What's the most sure fire way to break free of this lifestyle?

I started by teaching myself howr to program. Now I'm trying to get a job as a coder

>get a job
>go back to school
>learn a valuable skill
These are basically your only options. I don't think there is any "sure fire" way to escape the NEET life. It's very difficult to get out of once you're in deep.

How do you repair the damage to your social skills after years of being a hikikomori?

what is a valuable skill you can learn in a few months or a year that will at least put you above minimum wage

I'm a 47 year old NEET and still live with my parents so I don't know and I don't care. I've lived as a NEET this long, I'm prepared to die as a NEET

I assumed at least a quarter of people in general had considered suicide.

>interact with people
>talk to people
>embarrass yourself
>repeat until fixed
Not that guy, and I haven't succeeded at all myself, so I'm just guessing.

Programming seems to be the most common one. I don't seem to have the brainpower for it myself though.
