The thing most people are forgetting is that there would be a lot of people there. They would be confused, irritated, angry, excited but most importantly irrational. Society wouldn't change. Those who have an important and useful skillset would quickly rise up in the social ladder. If you bring the best items and refuse to share then other anons would just take it from you. Furthermore 200lbs is a lot. you would be a fool to take 200 lbs worth of anything since most people probably won't even be able to move it (excluding /fit/, but those faggots would have their own set of problems).

Taking all of this into account I would go to the library and get a handful of books on surviving in the wilderness, detecting poisonous plants/animals, creation of medicine, and improving physical fitness and meditation. I would also get a sturdy backpack and a solid knife or two. The books will enable me to strengthen my mind and body. Even though the world is different the planet is earthlike so the books will still be useful. I would also take a sleeping bag and 7 pairs of clothes prioritizing winter clothing. I would bring medicine but would remove the labels and do my best to memorize what they are (It won't be a lot and it would prevent theft). I think that would be around 50 lbs worth of stuff. I would be on an /r9k/ plot of land and i will take no one with me. Presumably once people get to this world they will want to make groups. I will try to join a group with people who do not know each other already, who packed similar to me (light), and who are not overly hostile, nervous or excited. I would not prefer a group with a woman since there would be a lot of orbiters and needless drama. I am now in a position where I won't die. I also refuse to work with slackers and if it turns out that a member is taking advantage I would leave the group and probably just go solo.

As for food, I would bring enough to last a couple of days until i adjusted to hunting/foraging/fishing. I wouldn't try to restart civilization I would just make my time there bearable until i die. There are plenty of people who would gladly hook up with a femanon and have kids and try to start a family so there is no need for me to bother with that. That's a bout it. I'm not smart or strong or fast but i am somewhat disciplined and can learn fairly quickly. I'm also not super competitive but I am easy to get along with. I think thats more important than innate talent in this world. Oh and if i can get my hands on a gun i would take that too. If i am ever in a position where i would be going through an act worse than death (anons decide to torture and make others suffer) i would just kill myself and be done with it.
