How can you consider yourself an adult if you don't have a license. Do you just bum rides from mommy everywhere?

theres that thing, called bus. or train. or bike. or walking, you should try that one sometimes. sorry for not living in a country with shit-tier transit systems
>>35624631
But I do...
drive.
...
...
Full-time...
Once i realised that you end up becoming a chauffeur for family and family friends i lost all motivation to even bother. Add to the fact that the costs of taxes and insurance for owning a car would be pointless for the rare occasions i actually need to travel somewhere.also having limited travel options helps keep me out of wageslavery.
I can drive. I'm just not legally allowed.
Lived in the middle of fucking nowhere for half my life, then moved and spent a few years in the middle of a city. I never really had a reason to. not to mention I have more spare money because I don't need to pay road tax, insurance, or buy fuel for literally just going to and from work which isn't even that far away desu
>>35625085
I live in a big city. There is literally no point in driving anywhere since the subway is faster and cheaper. And I get to stand next to qties sometimes.
>>35624631
I have literal autism. I get lost in my head so easily and have such a hard time focusing on more than one thing that the few times I have driven (with someone else in the car, at that), I've gone 20 miles under the speed limit, drifted into curbs without noticing, and narrowly avoided hitting pedestrians by inches.
I'm 20 and I am scared to drive. Should I just end it now
>>35625633
Don't, anon. I'm also 20 and afraid of driving. Ive done it successfully a handful of times and have my permit, but it fucking terrifies me. Even being a passenger is scary because I feel like I'm taking a gamble every time.
