Almost five years ago, my mom's coworkers gave us two kittens they rescued because one of our cats died the spring before. Two brothers with virtually the same fur pattern, just different fur colours.

When the second one was hitting puberty, it took us forever to get him fixed, so there were obviously incidents involving him. Most of it was just beating up his brother at a vicious rate. But, at night, he would try to prop himself on my head, and it seemed like he kept having trouble staying on before finally giving up and leaving. This was during the encroaching winter, where I had a habit of sleeping completely underneath the covers. So I didn't think much of it.

But after a while, I finally figured out what it was he was doing...
