But the additional negative of this diet is it starts to take a toll on your gastrointestinal system over time. You can develop things like irritable bowel syndrome or even Crohn's disease many years down the line. And of course there's the dangers of high blood sugar and hypertension.

When you don't get enough or good enough sleep for years it ages you. You'll just flat out look worse. Have less energy.

If you're reading this and you're healthy enough that you can just go to bed right now I suggest you do so. I know the depressing thoughts tend to come on the strongest when you do this and the instinct is to run away from them by staying up until you drop (like I have done for years) but it's a self-defeating habit in the end.

Now this really confuses me. I spent 2 hours today walking through hiking trails amidst lush green mountain terrain and it was beautiful. But even simply outings like a walk in the city can be satisfying. Walking is free and doesn't require any skills or equipment, just go outside and move your feet. Very good for physical and mental health, I got to walk at least 2 hours a day ideally, often much more. Not that I need to walk so much, but that when not walking I am probably sedentary, sitting or standing at the computer. Yet I lack the attention span to do anything productive with technology other than consume infotainment, and always have.
