Why are NEETs so depressed?

Too much free time and too much DEEP thought

I don't know why/if most seem that way, maybe because they haven't learned to have an internal compass of self worth and still care what people think of them, and are bothered by petty concerns like being ugly, short, fat, skinny, or whatever. I've been very happy being NEET for the last 2 years and it depresses me that I'm going to have to be a wagecuck next week because running out of money and I don't get NEETbux. I like being outside and spend several hours outdoors going on long walks, sitting quietly in nature and eating out by myself. I'd imagine NEETs who are shut-ins would more easily adjust to working, they could still be homebody recluses the rest of the time and then just report to work, do their job and have money.

NEET here. Not depressed, just bored with life. There's nothing fun anymore. Video games get boring after the 10 hundredth time. Movies/TV can't keep my attention. No money for cool things. Even the internet's getting boring since I only use YouTube and 4chan and 4chan's getting worse each day
