Maybe someday
I am headed the vagabonding way, and the reason I wouldn't go for a van is mainly because I wouldn't want to be anchored into where my van is.
And what I mean by this is that you can't cross an ocean in a van, not cheaply.
You could spend a year in north and south america then sell it and buy one in europe

>a year for like 1/3 of the world
If I did that I would spend at least a decade travelling all of N and S america
I still prefer to have nothing but a backpack to take care of.
A van seems nice for vacationing in but not for living in.

Just did a bunch of mexico.
It was nice to have a place to sleep every night and a place to cook.
Nice to be able to buy 2 weeks worth of groceries and drive to a remote beach and just fish and swim all day.
Nice to be able to take a few key pieces of hobby related gear
Can you internet in a van?
>>35544250
I gotta say that does sounds really comfy
How much did it cost you? What is the average range for someone buying cheap but functional?
>>35544310
I saw people in rigs as cheap as 2k american.
cost of travel is pretty fucking cheap especially with cheap gas now.
I budget 1k per month including fuel but I live pretty large in mexico eating out and drinking at the bar quite a bit
>>35544384
How do you make that 1k/month?

I work for 3 months then travel for 6
>>35544564
What kind of work do you originally do?
>>35543637
The idea of living in a van doesn't remotely appeal to me.
My dream is a very small, very cheap house in the middle of nowhere.

Wireless Hotspot
Verizon postpaid if you're loaded/have a legitimate need for a (relatively) fast connection. Some prepaid (like Karma) if you're just shitposting.
