Op here. Statistically men are the ones single first, then they become old hags that want to settle down to have kids. There is a webiste that people post a image from with blue dots, that one leads to what is truth. They expect you to like it because guys are supposed to be the pump and dumps and females are just switching gender roles, one would figure, rather than being equal. There's so much to say about that but I won't. Females being after the money but getting it later, and men being after the youthful good teen look that women lose by the time they're alone, being the main things to say. This culture is broken. Also men die early, there's that, whatever though. It's not some edu so it doesn't matter, but I don't doubt it.

I have horrible social anxiety and can't relate to anything considered normal by my peers.

Actually started caring about how I look a while ago, got a haircut and new clothes and so on. I think I actually look pretty chad-tier but I'm still a soulless cyborg.

Lately I've also noticed that people have started to constantly stare at me which is making me incredibly anxious of even going to the grocery store.

I intentionally got a single this year for that exact reason. I have a robot friend who wanted to get a double in the Junior village with the rest of the Juniors; I opted for a single in Sophomore housing instead.

I ended up in a shitty hall with a bunch of people who are even worse to live with than I am. I know some people enough to think they'd be fun to live with, but not well enough to convince them to let me live with them.

I also depend on them for invitations to parties. I would get so much more socialization if I lived alongside them.
