DON'T IGNORE ME YOU HAIR HAVING BASTARDS
>>
>>35530208
Not well OP. My hairloss has been getting to me lately. I ho through cycles of semi-acceptance and utter hopelessness.
>>
I want to get on minox but i dont want to deal with 4-6 months of noticeable shedding before results kick in. Yet by now my hair is thinning on top at 21 and if I wait any longer I might not maximize minox to its fullest.

What do? I refuse to chemically castrate myself or increase my chances of deadly prostate cancer with that jew drug finasteride.
>>
Mine is stable for once. Got the monk top I inherited from my father. I spike it and keep it short to make it look semi decent.
>>
>>35530208
Use minox and a dht blocker and take biotin supplements you stupid wanker.

Also eat banannas
>>
>>35531677

>i dont want to deal with 4-6 months of noticeable shedding before results kick in

I never experienced that with minox, ever.

I honestly think you should give it a shot. Get the foam from Target if you decide to try it. It's way cheaper than Rogaine and works just as well.

Wouldn't recommend the liquid, non-foam version. Makes my scalp itch and it's messy.
>>
>used to have god tier model hair
>starting to bald

feels ogofd man
>>
I'm a beardlet. C-can I hang out with you guys?
>>
>>35530208
Mine looks awful but I'm still clinging to it as if it makes me look younger and more attractive.

Too lazy/pussy to buzz it down.
>>
>>35531708
>eat bananas
haven't seen that before. how are they supposed to help?
>>
>>35531677

My issue with minox is that not only do I not want to deal with having to use a time-consuming and cumbersome treatment every day for the rest of my life, but one that'll leave me fucked within two months if I can't get access to it for whatever reason at that. The thought of losing huge chunks of my hair in a short period of time if I stopped is much more stressful than it gradually thinning.

If something which only had to be used once a day and made you lose your gains more gradually after stopping came out, I'd consider that.
>>
>>35531715
Im getting the Kirkland brand. Its cheap af. My only gripe is that I have to put it on daily for a year until I can then lower the amount of days to use it.

On a scale of 1 to Vegeta, how is everyone's widows peak?
>>
>>35531925
Used to be vegeta as fuck.

Then that started thinning, too...
>>
>>35531892
This is also my issue with it as well. Im thinking of saving up some cash to buy a steady stream of minoxidil foam for a year. Shouldnt be no more than 100 bucks iirc
>>
>>35531925
Its getting bad for me. Its not noticeable for me yet because my hair is long on top which covers it up but im beggining to thin on top so I have to pick a hair treatment option soon before it gets worse.
>>
>>35531925
it's gotten pretty bad recently, thinning very quickly, not sure why, maybe i have the cancer
>>
>>35531700
Convert to judaism and wear one of those little round hats. They made those up for that very reason. It's the perfect shape and size to cover balding on the top.
>>
>>35532063
>maybe i have cancer

Nah, just shit tier genetics like us. But if your balding is Costanza tier you may be at risk for prostate cancer in the future due to the excess testosterone your body produces
>>
Anyone have an oily scalp? My hair gets noticeably oiler within a day without showering and the oils thin up my hair considerably. Ive tried using some diluted ple cider vinegar solution every 2-3 days and although it makes my hair look better, it doesnt stop my scalp from oiling up.
>>
>>35532097
goddamnit why cant i just have cancer

i want off my hairs balding ride
>>
>>35531700
>I spike it and keep it short to make it look semi decent.

I can confidently tell you right now that no, it doesnt look good. Just shave it off and stop pretending.
>>
>>35531925
Getting bad. I had hoped just the corners would recede, but it looks like the center is starting to go too. Nothing off of my crown yet (knock on wood) but I'm preparing myself for it. The biggest problems for me are that I'm only 20, a beardlet, and a babyface. I also have a weirdly shaped forehead, a big nose, and weak lower third. I'm pretty ugly anyway, but the hairloss pours a lot of salt on the wounds
>>
>>35532163
Cancer is a shitty and painful disease as well as mentally draining. Dont wish yourself that anon its not a pretty way to go.
>>
>>35532143
It might seem backwards, but you may need to wash it LESS. Go for a few weeks where you only wash it with shampoo once a week and it should be slower to oil up.
Washing your hair too often can wash away the natural oils you need so your body overproduces them to compensate.

This might be bullshit, though. I don't have a degree in hairology or anything.
>>
>>35532063
The hair loss in cancer patients is caused mostly by the chemotherapy, not by the cancer itself

>still managed to make my gf pregnant

Spreading my baldlet genes muahahahaha
>>
>>35532244
I wash my hair every 2-3 days and use small amounts of shampoo yet my scalp still gets oily fast.

Maybe it's more to do with my hair thinning. Goddamn i fucking hate being cursed with these shit tier genes.
>>
>>35532278
That looks absolutely awful. No way I would be allowed to go to work looking like some Bob marley stonerfag. Im just gonna shave it off
>>
Why do you fags bitch about something that is fixable in 90% of balding men?

Rogaine

Propecia

Nizoral shampoo

Hair transplant

They all come with their risks and expenses but you either care enough about your hair to use these treatments or you dont.
>>
>>35532063
>>35532097

I had the same problem. I will be bald eventually because genetics and my dad was an egghead by the time he was barely in his early/mid 30, but over a few years the balding went into warp speed.

Turns out, it was due to hypothyroidism, the same thing causing my skinnyfat belly (and also being lazy).

Turns out, my hypothyroidism was a symptom of my infected teeth that I neglected for years and years so my body was constantly trying to fight off this infection and of course didn;t have the resources to spare to keep my hair looking good.

I got my teeth fixed and started eating coconut oil (helps with your metabolism and thyroid) as well as doing at least the bare minimum of daily exercise, 6 months later when I got my blood checked again my thyroid levels were back to normal.

I have what seemslike a shit ton of hair but its not growing where it used to. Huge widows peak that is only hidden by a long fringe. I'm due for a hairdressers appointment, im going to leave the top and get it short on sides and back because emo hair looks horrible

That's why the dude works as the lead singer of a metal band, he also intentionally worked it into dreadlocks

My hair isn't nowhere as near as bald as that thank god.

totally bald long hair can look allright if you tie it up like Jesse Ventura
>>
>>35532442
That oddly looks aesthetic
>>
>>35532436
You dont have to use propecia. Two of the options I listed are enough to retain your hair. Transplants are there to regain any lost hairs PERMANENTLY
>>
>>35532520
Yeah, it's an under-rated look for old dudes.

There was this latino dude that must've been in his 50s or 60s and he came into the place I used to work at, he looked like Carlos Santana and I always totally jealous of his old man probably-ex-hippy ponytail.

I guess if all you have left on your head is just a circumference of hair that goes around the back of your skull, you may as well grow that out.
>>
>>35532520
It's he's a grey older dude, you're meant to look like that and if you rock it you can still look great, It's a problem when you're barely an adult and already going patchy.
>>
>>35532551
I have never seen a hair transplant that does not look like shit
>>
>>35533220
You've seen plenty, you just didn't know they were hair transplants.
>>
>>35533220
We're not living in the 90s. Hair transplants today are more advanced than 20 years ago and when done by a good hair specialist surgeon, they can make it look natural. If you skimp out and go to a shitty surgeon then of course it will look back.
>>
There is hope hairlets

https://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/threads/human-growth-hormone-grew-it-all-back-wtf.11060/

It grows back hair on even bald heads and the effects apparently last a full year even when you stop taking it.
>>
>>35532551
The issue with transplants are that there are limited doner sites, and although the transplanted hairs are permanent, the susceptible hair around/behind them will continue to miniaturize and disappear. Not to mention they are expensive
>>
>>35533391

Holy fuck. Is this real? Can anyone confirm?
>>
>>35530208
I've had long, thick hair my whole life. I'm 20 now, and in the past year or so I've noticed that my hair is thinning around the crown and front. I feel like it's getting more and more noticeable and I haven't had a haircut in 7+ months, so I want to get my usual buzz cut. Only problem is I have a wart on my scalp and the dermatologist is booked until July. I'm scared of accidentally cutting it if I buzz my hair now, so I've been waiting.
>>
If you're not balding to some degree you CANNOT be a robot
