Do people seriously use it though? The only people ive met who use it are people in greece. So I assume its a european thing. Not a single person ive ever met in socal uses it.

Yeah, it's a European thing. Not for any particularly good reasons, since most plans in Europe offer free SMS anyway.

Personally I haven't seen it used much up here in the north lately. Most people either use SMS or Facebook messaging. I mostly use Discord, even with irl friends.

Yeah seems about right. In greece I always just used facebook or very rarely instagram. Even though like its kinda dying out in california.

I never understood why texting never caught on. I would split my time between greece and socal so theres lots of little things ive noticed are different.
