I am still well off compared to my peers. Recently I reluctantly tried to find a job with a degree you'd think would make it easy, nursing. There are no jobs.
What makes me kind of sad is the fact that I've seen how good it is in other places. Not just economically, but also how much developed they seem. I got to spend a month in Madrid and it was amazing (mostly because I finally got a GF there).

If I had the will to live, I'd go crazy from the thought of having to live here when there are places out there like Madrid. Wages are bad but not that bad (average is about 4000 zloty so about 980-1000$ but more realistically if you are not retarded you'll get about 3000-3500zl) Unemployment rate is relatively low (8%) and stuff is rather cheap here.
The country itself is beautiful, lots of amazing things to see.
People are either really stupid (nothing like americans though) or really nice and what's important - mostly Polish or at least slav.
