Was this bike a good purchase?
Bikes are cool, but I personally prefer skateboards.
I know nothing about bikes but I would say as long as you enjoy using it then it was a good purchase.

It was around $1200 CAD with all the accessories I got with it included.
I just feel as though I may have wasted my money, and a cheaper bike would have been just as fine.

Specialized makes good bikes and imo ~$1200 is a good price point where you get something much better than a Walmart bike but aren't spending hundreds of dollars on minor performance increases. As long as you have good places to ride that thing I'd say it's a good call. For me it was 100% road bike no question.

I didn't even know bikes could be that expensive. I would say either return it and get a cheaper one, or if you really like it just don't think about it and enjoy riding it for what it is.
what do I know, I'm just a skateboarder with no money. Idk if my advice means anything
ya specialized make really good bikes

Specialized is top tier of bikes but if your not hitting mtn bike trails with it or plan to really beat it up then its a bit of a waste because you don't have the skill to push it to the max. it would have been better to get a older model on Craigslist
definitely a quality trail bike. road bikes are much more fun and faster for getting around the city tho

how many times are you going to make the same thread asking the same fucking question jesus christ

I've never made a thread asking this question. The other one was just asking for advice on what kind of bike to buy.
