Church is indeed good for socializing and networking but that doesn't mean there is a good reason to actually believe in anything. Mosques are also good for the same thing so according to you that means people should convert to Islam.
I never said anything about Christianity, religion has never been a part of my life as my country is overwhelmingly atheist. I see them all as the same thing. Don't project your Americentricism onto everyone else (I'm assuming that's where you're from, if not then apologies for the insult).
