Judging by the destruction, death and suffering that happens to the majority of humanity, God is either one of these three things:

>God loves us, but doesn't have the power to stop suffering. Therefore he is not omnipotent, therefore he is not God.
>God has omnipotent power, but doesn't care about people's sufferings (actively lets it happen). Therefore God doesn't love us, he hates us. Thus he is not really the "loveable God" religion likes to tout.
>God doesn't exist, as he neither has the power or the love towards us humans.
