Know what the company does and be able to talk about it. Have some answers to common questions prepared (if you're someone who cannot talk on the fly). Depending on the type of job research some current happenings in that industry. Always be prepared to talk about what you do in your free time and your personal interests. Companies are not only looking for someone who can do the work, but also someone they think themselves and their workers can get along with for 8 hours a day.

That's really about all I've ever done.

Realistically, you just gotta be you. You want to show the employer who you are so that they feel comfortable hiring you. They don't want somebody that they're unsure of walking into their building everyday.

But, assuming you're a socially inept neet, you have to pretend to be a normie.

I say whatever they want to hear, with enthusiasm. If they ask if I can do something, even if I cant, I'll smile big and say yes every time.
