I forget when I stopped playing but it was when there was a huge community fuss about selling shit on the ingame marketplace and the devs just ignored them and it was sort of pay2win so I stopped playing since most of my guild did anyway.

If I was NEET I might pick it up again but that game is a huge timesink and I can't afford to spend so much time on it.

I played riders of icarus because I liked taming the animals and riding around and shit
Was never able to play mmos much because I had no friends to help me through dungeons or bosses, and it got incredibly difficult alone at higher levels

I haven't seen much of that, but I honestly don't sell items on the market. I've never been good at market stuff in mmo's, so I just vendor stuff even if that's a huge money loss.

Unapologetically WoW since waaaaaay back in '08. Originally I mained a Retadin and did the whole hardcore raiding thing, but around the time of Dragon Soul I stepped away from the scene.

These days I roleplay on US-Moon Guard and pug normals. It's comfy and I enjoy it.

I play off and on (mostly off). The main thing that turns me off about it is a) the leve and dailies grind to level up new jobs once you've completed the MSQ, b) being forced to level up to a certain point in jobs other than your main job for cross-class abilities if you want to do end-game content (looking at you, Quelling Strikes), and c) the slower-paced combat as compared to WoW.

It's not bad though, and the people that play it (at least on Jenova) are really cool. And despite being someone that normally plays melee regardless of game, BLM and I get along really well.

Ultima Online is my comfort food of Video games. Every couple years I come back to it and enjoy it immensely. Right now I'm trying to figure out the best way to acquire end game gear so I can do the "high level content" that exists in the game.

black desert online is fun until you realize you can't fucking do much besides grind the same enemies for dozens of hours to level.

BDO is top fucking comfy though also. and that's what kept me playing for a long time, just getting immersed into the environments and traveling and seeing cool sights and shit.

I play two right now. Not that actively. I RP on WoW from time to time and I just play SWTOR gameplay wise, not a fan of the RP there. Both are pretty on and off.

The only other game I played actively was CoH. I've tried out a bunch of others.

I used to play loads of Archeage but it truly is really bad if you have nobody to play with [spoiler which of course I didn't [/spoiler]
Just exploring and finding new areas was really comfy, sometimes bumping in to other people out in really obscure areas and maybe travelling through together.
Gliding around and admiring the big landscapes - man that game was comfy. It was really something at the start when everywhere was really populated, probably not so much now.
I only stopped playing because I had nobody to play with and grinding for levels 54-55 is really slow solo.

Is it the same in Black Desert Online? 'Cos I want to try that if it's as enjoyable solo as in a guild

Guild Wars will always be my true mmo love. I loved fucking EVERYTHING in that game.

Ever since GW2 came out, my love of videogames permanently started declining. Dark souls was the last game I really truly enjoyed playing. Then gw2 fucked it all up. Nothing was ever the same.

In these games there can be thousands of different themes, it could be an RPG, an FPS, a Strategy game, anything, really. I play it, I think it's really cozy. How hard is eve to get into ?

Used to play WoW. Had to quit because of real life reasons. Tried to pick it up in Legion, but since BRF like 90% of the roster had changed. Mostly in HFC as I understand. Got burnt out quickly, quit again. Artifacts are dumb.

I tried getting into Black Desert but dropped it once I found out they make spells do less damage if you just straight up Hotkey them instead of doing the dumb combo shit.
