It's like a slice of life mmo meaning you can be and do whatever the fuck you want at your own pace with no kind of race to grind levels all the time. The closes game I could compare it too is like an online Rune Factory but way more shit you can do. Besides the usual mmo stuff like classes and stuff you have life skills like black smithing, playing/writing music, cooking, trading goods, exploring, carpentry, tailoring, ect. each having a deep set of skills that you can become really good at and the more skills you learn and advance in the stronger you get but is also a double edge sword in trying to learn everything all at once.

Besides all the life skills and the usual mmo stuff there's still a shit ton of other stuff you can do in this game. It's not the pretties mmo but it really knows how to hit all the sweet spots in the extra shit you can do.

All the information regarding the game such as mob AI, scripts, NPC placements, etc. etc. was stored server side, your WoW client is really just a bunch of assets.

You average korean mmo instead stores almost everything client side and acts as a server to abuse p2p and reduce bandwith usage as much as possible, this is also why they need protection softwares to constantly check and protect the files integrity otherwise hacking shit would be as easy as editing your game files.

As tested it heals the same 150hp upon summon and also has the same 120 min summon time as a cash shop one. You still have enough time for it with rng + npc traded stars if you think it's worth about 7 hard SMs a day. Also the color is fixed crappy pink and can't be died.

That is if you want to go full fire. People usually play characters with dual elements. If you want dmg, go for fire; map control is air, enemy debuffs is water, and resistance/tankyness is earth. Obviously you will not be as good as specialized class, but they aren't bad. See what combination suits you better. It all complements with her unique light element, that change effects depending on the runes you have (each element cast a different rune.)

This is what I've been trying to do for weeks and none of this has worked for me. I can't do Their Method because monsters aren't strong/powerful no matter the difficultly and if my skills are reset or not. For Shadow Cast City and anything else that doesn't have slow moving zombies, when doing the party thing set to Anyone in the Party, this just makes things even worse for me because for one I can't get any of the mobs in a pile without knocking them halfway across the map or them knocking me halfway across the map. This also makes it hard to kill or even group them in time before they die off and what's frustrating is how clucky the combat is. For anything that's not zombies gathing 2 or more too many mobs and I'm stuck in knockback city for minutes on end and I can't even outrun them because they skill/attack lock me everytime I get back up stopping me from being able to do anything and knocking me further from the group. And don't get me started on fucking archers and alchemist, if there's any of these in the group I'm fucked no matter what.

Does this get increased later in the game? I can't really see much on the trees that increase it, so I would assume gear can increase your area if you can at all?

Oh, those are called smash attacks in Vindictus. It's been a pretty long time since I've played Lann so I might not be completely right. Spear smashes are weaker because you can continuously use them when you rank them up some, and spears have fury infusion which increases your critical rate by a good amount allowing you to use gliding fury more often.

I started Archeage last night and just got to level 20 so far today. Made a loli Dwarf. Questing and combat system is a bit generic but it seems pretty enjoyable so far, at least. I'm mostly looking forward to trying out riding around in a boat once I get one and being able to roam around freely. The sandbox aspect seems appealing. I've only seen a bit of it from youtube videos though.

I'm also thinking about trying Guild Wars 2 again.

Besides that i've just been playing a match or two of Smite (Arena Matches) here and there. Same with TF2. And I started playing Skyrim again a bit as well.

To people who think about playing Wakfu. As someone who has 190's + 6 heroes, let me give you some advice.

Play a character that you like, there'll be a class that clicks.

Choose Remington since it's international and Nox and Phaeris will be merging into it.

The game is fun but later on it will get frustrating, either do to content or the fact that you need a full party to do high level content and it mixes the line between challenging and frustrating.

I forget which is more popular but both have a large playerbase and finding a party is never an issue. End-game raiding is a different story, that's more organised but most new players wont reach that point for months at least.
