I don't get it? Why is Japan so fucking clean? Can we get some of that over here in America please?
>>35461133
Because the gov and citizens care.
>>35461197
How do we get the government and citizens to care over here? All I see are a bunch of ancap retards who think that the world will be a better place if anyone can do whatever they want.
>>35461392
I don't think that's possible when the philosophy has been integrated since the foundation of said country.
>>35461415
Tell me, anon. What do you think we should do?
Anyone want to make a dubtrack room for /comfy/ with me? I am willing to cohost and bump and play whenever I am online.
>>35461439
I'm not an expert.
Somehow encourage a large portion of the population to change their perspective.
>>35461133
The cops and security in japanese cities are really anal when it comes to keeping everything clean. There are certain streets where you're not allowed to smoke so you won't ash or drop butts everywhere. I live here.
>>35461501
The blacks?
>>35461392
Cities in other countries have more public spaces that people across the social spectrum actually walk around in. Those above a certain income in the US tend to commute long distances by car and drive everywhere, they aren't going to notice what condition the sidewalks and plazas are in and might even resent spending money on improving those things.
>>35461593
Sadly, yes. Ford and other automobile companies began dominating how America commuted back in the 1910's, and since then our cities are designed for cars, and passenger trains are few and far between. God bless the US.

Tryna stay comfy without alcohol guys, it's annoying, but I definitely need a break from the sauce.

What is and isn't comfy is subjective I guess
About 5 minutes away from where I'm sitting

fluff courses that are required to graduate aren't comfy
Leadership is not a teachable concept, only 11.5 months left
i just love comfy summer vibes. sitting in my room at night on the second floor with the street lights slipping into my dark room with the light of my laptop. and how its just a little too hot but theres nothing to do about it.

I wish I lived in Japan solely for their architecture etc, it's so gorgeous.
>>35463613
Name one single city that is dirtier than Tokyo. An actual city, not some shitty lifeless suburb. Only place that I've been that was cleaner was Dubai, and thats just because they use slaves to keep all the places clean that any foreigner might actually go
>>35463613
From what I've seen it seems way better than other cities when it comes to cleanliness.
am bumping my nigga
>>35464014
Canada's remarkably clean. Vancouver especially.
>>35464160
fuck canada. the place is a shithole.
>>35464196
Not really. It's lovely country. It's just a shame that it's filled with canadians.
>cute anime gif too large to post
I wish I lived in Japan to pretend it would fix all my problems, I know it wouldn't
I just want to live in middle of nowhere
>>35464228
i recant my earlier statement. you phrased it much better.
canada is a beautiful country, but theres not a nationality i hate more than canadians.
I don't regret not becoming an airline pilot because automation/drones would have probably ruined the career track for most of them in a decade or so, but there's nothing comfier than a cockpit at night, especially in some sort of weather. I have private pilot's license and its great in a little piston engine plane, I can't imagine how cool it is at high altitude.
>>35464306
>theres not a nationality i hate more than canadians
They're mot ass holes. There's a lot decent folk - but they get overshadowed by Trudeau supporters, expat asians, and the dickwads from Quebec
>>35464306
Really? There's no other nationality
I agree though the people here are just bargain bin Americans that don't have any of the excuses to be such jackassses. I understand people born and raised in Alabama acting like morons but there's no good reason Edmonton should have a high concentration of bald 30 year olds in Fox Racing teeshirts.

my issue isn't even that. the girls are sluttier than most and the guys are just terrible fuckboys. toronto deserves a proper nuking.
>>35464702
I feel like the rural/urban divide in Canada is even worse than it is in the US. People from rural areas, even rich people from rural areas, tend to be humbler IMO. Rich + urban as in Toronto is a recipe for assholery.

Depends where you live. In San Francisco the people who make less tend to live in the East Bay and commute while those of us who live in the city often don't own cars and rely on the street cars, sidewalks, and subway. Yet despite that the condition of our city is in some places more squalid than almost anywhere I've ever been in the United States.
One I took a few weeks back. The Yokohama skyline is pretty nice.
