Did anyone else used to think that daylight savings time corresponded to some cosmological phenomenon, like we had to change the clocks to adjust for something that happened in nature? I thought that until I was like 20. I don't know how I manage to keep myself alive desu

Idk about America or anywhere northern hemisphere but in Australia there's a huge difference between when the sun rises/sets in summer and winter so daylight savings makes sense for that
