I understand its hard, and its even harder not knowing where it comes from. The only advice i can offer is to find a therapist to talk to and maybe find a way to distract yourself or ease the burden. sometimes you have a chemical imbalance and one day the depression feels like a far away nightmare, regardless i would just let your parents know your struggle, at least if they are aware of it they can possibly help you, all else fails at least your not alone in this

Social life is pretty good. I was popular in HS. after getting out of high school i went to college.
