How is it possible to not be confident?

The only delimiter to being confident is not caring, and there's no reason to care unless stressing about your situation is actually going to help you. You aren't a bad person just for not being able to do something when you got willed into a situation that's difficult.

Do robots just not acknowledge this and think someone's value as a person is measured by how popular they are? They tend to base their understanding of the world and moral compass off corny highschool movies from the 2000s

I don't mean to be a dick but I can't wrap my head around how people struggle with this
