Why there so many songs about breakup but not about romantic rejection and social alienation?

There are songs about the latter two topics. It's just that you have to look way deeper. Besides, people are uncomfortable already with social aliens and romantic rejections aren't as sympathetic enough as breakups.

any good suggestions?
Also idk what passes through normie's minds to be less sympathetic to being alienated. Probably some beastly instincts.

>Rejection
If you're looking for songs about rejection just listen to any Linkin Park song.
This is probably one of the best songs about alienation.

Anything by The Smiths. How Soon is Now? Is the song you're looking for and coincidentally their most popular.

What the fuck are you talking about?
Nirvana and Radiohead seem to cover alienation pretty well
I think Cee Lo Green's song called "Fuck you" can be interpretted as covering social rejection

Western society has changed in the last 20 years or so. It used to be acceptable to talk and sing about social rejection and being an outcast, but for some reason the 2000s and especially 2010s have been all about presenting the most happy go lucky normie chad image possible.
The 90s and early 00s were a golden age of robot music, even super normie popular bands like Blink 182 sung about our kinds of issues a lot. It goes back way further than that, too, even real life turbochads like the Rolling Stones sung songs like Satisfaction.
