I saw a shadowy, child-sized figure move across my bedroom when I was like 3. I had a younger brother, but he was a newborn--no way it could have been him, since he couldn't even walk at the time.

Sometimes I think the shadow men have gotten into my house, I hear bumps and tapping noises in the house somewhere and I get too afraid to leave my room

Pretty sure I was in paralysis / dreaming when I was younger, I eventually realized that I was imagining them

Now I frequently see people out of the corner of my eyes thanks to hppd

When I believed that they existed and had consciousness, I also believed that they were always there, and that I am only now seeing them, so I stayed pretty relaxed, they normally don't fuck with you, and if they did it was because you imagined danger, that's when started acting hostile.
The furthest it can get by hostile is a rush towards you, then jumps in your face to provoke you.

If you are seeing them OP, don't believe ANY of the /x/ bullshit, they are not real and there is an actual cause for you hallucinating. They are not "communicating" with you and they're not ghosts either

I also think they prefer to reveal themselves in reflective surfaces so glossy windows and mirrors freak me out sometimes

Do shadow people have a "face" like in OPs pic or are they just black figures?

90% of the time they are just vague shapes, In my experience they have no face, but have occasional eyes, by the time you would be able to focus on its face it would have already disappeared.

I sometimes hallucinate when I wake up and see people in my room. Have also seen plenty of shadow men when I used to stay up doing drugs for days.
