how long can you go without being hit with ">tfw no gf"?

Varies, I was doing pretty good. Then last night I get hit with a dream of a cute girl from one of my classes, never talked to her, don't know her. The girl in my dream was based off her though.
Then you wake up and you're stuck with it until it starts to fade and it will suddenly rear its ugly head all over again.

7 years. I haven't wanted a gf since I was like 15.

About 2 minutes followed by tears

It varies. I went about two weeks during last summer because I did nothing but work in a cutting tools factory that was all male and then went home and played vidya that didn't have an internet connection. Totally forgot girls were a thing until I went shopping and saw a qt working the cash register and then the loneliness hit me.

Then I get one of those dreams which fucks me up for the next 2 days. After that I'm good for another half a year.
