Dear robots,
Is it unusual to think with voices in your head? I always thought it was normal but I learned that some people think with pictures. Do any of you think with this, like, voice? For example, if I think out a math problem, I have the voice in my mind explain it, like "ok, so we carry the 2 and do that shit" idk if that's normal. Sometimes I have 2 voices who argue with each other when I'm making a decision.

Yeah I do it with my voice as well. I think everyone does that unless they're literally trying to imagine something visual. Only autists do maths via imagery.
Umm i have an extreme mixture of both and others things._.. Wtf do you not have the ability to imagine images and visuals?
No OP, but I can't imagine visual things. Lid if someone asked me to imagine a red ball, I know what it looks like but I can't see it in my minds eye. It's like it's there but just barely. Hard to describe but really frustrating.

Internal monologues are normal I think
That's what thinking IS.
It's your inner voice(s).

>ok, so we carry the 2 and do that shit
sorry but if you actively "think out loud" everytime you do math you're very fucking stupid.
As far as I know, only heavily dyslexic people lack internal monologue.

I think he means in his head, not literally speaking aloud

As a visual person that sounds immensely frustrating. So can you not envision fantasy worlds in your head? Do you ever try and imagine you're a hero or king in some lost world or somesuch? Are your dreams very visual? I'm actually really curious.
