Why is there no alternative? Like an actual HS equivalency test? The GED is for retards and illegal immigrants. I didn't study at all after dropping out as a Junior and being NEET for 4 years and scored above average in every subject except math. I have no interest in going to college, I just want to get a job or join the military. But everyone acts like the GED is meaningless, and it is. But there's nothing else. I'm not sorry I left normie-heaven early, and this shit shouldn't screw me over my entire life.

I dropped out at 2nd grade because parents are shit at life. Never go back to school or even home schooled. Luckily im naturally into learing things and self educated since i was 6. Got my ged when i was 18 just to prove to people who i guess assumed i was literally incapable of solving 2+2. Ged is pointless, most job applications have hs/ged checkmark but later ask what school u graduated from bs. Anyway, ive been successful at getting jobs i actually love, not going to get rich but hey, atleast its not soul crushing. I suggest going to trade school, its 1000000x cheaper than reg school and you can eventually be your boss and make 50k a year with the skills youll learn. Keep your hope and chin up homie. And btw yes i grew up with a debilitating inferiority complex. And managed to survive w impovershed useless parents
