Why do you think we are here now? Because it is the nature of women to destroy goodness.

They always are so ambitious they would throw away eternal paradise for the taste of a fruit that lasts only moments.
>>
>Spending all day praying and reading the bible
>Productive

monks literally don't do anything

Well if we're going to semantic about it, the only people who are productive on this planet are farmers, hunters and builders. Everything else is unnecessary and trivial and not needed for survival.

Most monasteries have a vocation that supports their religious practice. Back in the day and even up to this day this could be agriculture, the production of manuscripts, brewers, and so on.

Monks do usually do something to bring in income. Many of them work a trade. Monasteries don't survive on donations alone, you know.

i have a friend who is a catholic priest he is a lot of fun to be around and isn't as bland as you would think. i asked him what do you actually do thou. he told me catholic priests usually have a PHD in divinity to be a priest and that usually means they minored in something other than divinity so they could work on something else. a lot of catholic priests are teachers of some other subject (history, science, literature) and so they do the teaching as adjunct others minor in things like medicine or take up a trade so they can contribute to their communities. lots of priests even do scientific research apparently the catholic clergy puts a big emphasis on education
