I'm trying to teach myself. I can play guitar and bass, and I'm trying to teach myself to play drums, voice and piano so I can start making my own music.

I'm also practicing singing and playing guitar at the same time, but fuck I didn't realize that would be so hard, like patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time.

Yes. Sang in a church choir as a boy, stopped once my voice dropped and carried on singing for fun. I never tetl people I can sing because I like to surprise them with that fact because the reaction I get is always priceless. Karaoke nights is especially rewarding to my ego.

I like it mainly because it gives me confidence in myself. I can rely on something as close to me as my own voice and it's always something I can lean back on when I'm feeling down or overcome by something else. Not to mention it tends to moisten the nether regions of the female gender, so that's a nice bonus.
